A steady hand for household records

Goldside was founded to offer something simple — a calm, organised session where retirement-age households in Selangor can bring their documents to order without any pressure or advice.

How Goldside came to be

Goldside began in 2019 when its founders noticed a particular gap in the market. Retirement-age households in Subang Jaya and the wider Selangor area had accumulated decades of documents — EPF statements, property titles, insurance policies, household receipts — and many households simply did not know what they had, or where it was.

The challenge was not financial or legal. It was administrative. Folders had been shoved into drawers. Envelopes had never been opened. Nothing had a label. When a document was needed — at a counter, at a hospital, during a property matter — the household had to search under pressure, which is not a comfortable experience at any age.

Goldside was set up to address that problem through calm, unhurried bench-style sessions. We do not offer pension advice or financial guidance. We sit with households, identify what documents they have, and build a clear printed index so that any document can be located without searching. The scope is purely organisational — and we maintain that boundary clearly in every session.

Our mission

To give every retirement-age household a clear, printed index of its documents — so that the right paper is always within reach, and nothing has to be searched for at a difficult moment.

Our approach

Every session proceeds at the participant's pace. We ask, we note, we print. There is no rush, no upselling, and no deviation into advice that falls outside document organisation.

Our commitment

We keep our scope narrow by design. Goldside does not comment on entitlement matters, pension sums, or investment documents. That boundary protects our clients and keeps every session focused on what we do well.

Our team

LH

Lim Hui Shan

Hui Shan spent twelve years in records administration before founding Goldside. She leads all personal document index sessions and developed the folder-logic system used across the practice.

RN

Rajan Nair

Rajan coordinates the multi-visit reorganisation programmes, managing scheduling and ensuring each visit builds logically on the last. He has a background in administrative services and client coordination.

SM

Siti Mariam

Siti handles all first enquiries and session preparation. She ensures each participant arrives knowing what to bring and what to expect — making the session itself as smooth as possible.

Our working standards

Confidentiality

Documents handled during sessions are never copied, photographed, or retained by Goldside. The contents remain the property of the participant, and we note only the document name and its storage location.

Scope discipline

Every session operates within a defined scope: document identification, labelling, and index creation. Goldside does not cross into financial, legal, or entitlement territory, and will say so clearly if such topics arise.

Printed deliverables

Every session ends with a physical output — printed and placed in the participant's hands before they leave. There is no reliance on shared drives, apps, or digital access to retrieve session results.

Data handling

Contact details and session notes are held only for scheduling and correspondence purposes. We do not share personal data with third parties, and we comply with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010.

Scheduled and punctual

Sessions begin on time and end within the agreed window. Rescheduling is accommodated with reasonable notice. We do not overrun sessions, and we do not cut them short without the participant's agreement.

Clear communication

What is included in each session is described in writing before it begins. There are no hidden charges, and any change in scope is discussed and agreed with the participant before proceeding.

Document organisation for retirement households in Selangor

Goldside operates from Subang Jaya, within the SS 15 neighbourhood of Selangor, and serves households across the Klang Valley. Our sessions are open to individuals and couples who are at or approaching retirement age and who have accumulated household documents that have never been properly sorted or indexed.

The documents we typically encounter include EPF and SOCSO statements, property titles and tenancy agreements, insurance policies, bank correspondence, vehicle documents, utility paperwork, and personal identity documents. Each type has its own storage considerations, and each household has its own filing habits — or lack of them. We work with what is there, not with what should be there.

Our three services — the Personal Document Index Session, the Quarterly Records Review, and the Multi-Visit Records Reorganisation Programme — are designed to meet households at different stages of readiness. Some clients come in for a single session and leave with everything they need. Others prefer the steady rhythm of a quarterly review. The programme is for those who want a thorough, guided reorganisation at their own pace.

All sessions are held at our office at 31 Jalan SS 15/4, 47500 Subang Jaya. The space is quiet, private, and easy to reach from Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Klang, and the surrounding townships. We do not make house visits, which keeps our working environment consistent and our service quality predictable.
